Saving Images to Image Groups

You need to register (create an account and a password) to be able to download images or create and save images to image groups, such as saving groups of images and downloading and using the Offline Image Viewer Tool, which allows you to view images and create slideshows on your computer.

  1. Click on the Register link on the upper right-hand side of the page.
  2. Fill in your e-mail address and enter a password. Select your "Role at Institution" and "Academic Department" from the pull-down menus.
  3. Click Submit.
  4. Once your registration is complete, you will receive an e-mail stating your registration was successful.
  5. If you are ready to search, click Login (next to the Register link) and enter your e-mail address and password.

Download Images

  1. Follow the instructions above for viewing results.
  2. Click the save icon (looks like a little old fashioned diskette) to download.
  3. Click OK, Accept or Yes to accept the licensing agreement.
  4. Select a folder on your computer or an external memory device in which to save the image.
  5. Follow the prompts to save the image, and remember where you saved it.
